Patient FAQs
If you do not find the necessary information you can contact the Coordination Center of the Interregional Network for Rare Diseases of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta ( CMID ) by calling 0112402127 (from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 16.00) or you can send an email to: info@malattierarepiemonte.it
The content of the site and the operators of the Coordination Center that manage it do not intend to replace the advice of a doctor who is an expert on specific rare diseases. Their role is instead to provide you with information that will help you reach a diagnosis and take charge by the Regional Health System .
The general practitioner/pediatrician of free choice (GP / P) can refer the patient for a specialist evaluation at any Center of the Interregional Network for Rare Diseases of Piedmont and Aosta Valley or at accredited facilities in other regions. GPs / Ps and patients can search for the centers with the highest case numbers in the “Healthcare Offer” section of this website or, if the expertise is lacking in our Regions, can contact the Coordination Center (phone number 0112402127 (Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) or you can send an email to: malattierarepiemonte@aslcittaditorino.it) or may consult the website of the National Center for Rare Diseases (http://www.iss.it/cnmr)
