The Coordination Center of the Interregional Rare Diseases Network (CMID) of the Giovanni Bosco Hospital - ASL City of Turin hosts the Listening Center for Rare Diseases treated by A-RARE , the Forum of Rare Diseases Associations in Piedmont and the Valle d ' Aosta .
The listening center will be officially presented, in the presence of the Councilor for Health of the Piedmont Region, Antonio Saitta , on 19 October 2018 at 16.00 , in the Ravetti hall of the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital, Piazza del Donatore di Sangue 3, Turin .
The listening center, located on the sixth floor of the Giovanni Bosco hospital, is open to the public two Thursdays a month from 4 to 6 pm . It is managed directly by patient associations with the aim of providing information on various social and welfare aspects related to rare diseases.
The connection with the CMID, and with the health structures of the interregional network for rare diseases , will facilitate the diagnostic-therapeutic management of individual patients suffering from rare diseases, the acquisition of capillary information of a social-welfare nature and the dissemination knowledge of the network of associations present in the Piedmont and Aosta Valley areas.
