Rare diseases and equally rare and extraordinary will to live: from 27 February to 5 March , for the whole week dedicated to rare diseases , for the first time in Piedmont the Giovanni Bosco Hospital will host in its atrium the photo exhibition " Rare Lives " , exceptional creation by the photojournalist Aldo Soligno and UNIAMO - Italian Federation of Rare Patients Onlus .
Special lives in an extraordinary photographic reportage, made in Italy and in Europe in 3 years of work, visiting 70 families, to make known the daily life of many people who live with a rare pathology, through the masterly shots of the photojournalist of the agency Echo Photojournalism .
Behind every rare disease there is a person and a family and there is their struggle against the disease and its dramatic repercussions, the obstacle course towards a sometimes unattainable diagnosis, the impact on life and society.
The exhibition is an international awareness campaign to raise awareness and information on rare diseases.
A similar exhibition will take place simultaneously at the S. Luigi Gonzaga Hospital in Orbassano.
